My Story
To bring daily inspiration and joy into people’s lives, that is the intention of The Change Dispensary.
Sharing positive thoughts and examples of dreams realized so more people can CHANGE THINGS UP and feel the magic and peace that comes from living BIG as your truest self. They may become inspired to do that thing they’ve always wanted to do and that would be awesome. That thing could change their life or even the world.
Positive affirmation and inspired thoughts have the power to change the trajectory of our lives. To get us unstuck. To propel us into consciousness and inner reflection. A single inspired thought can reinvigorate the soul and create a domino effect of motivation, creation, and delight!. This is freaking bad-ass and powerful!
In 2013 I got the opportunity to move across the country to open the west coast office of an advertising agency. I lived in a fabulous city (Chi-town!), was 12 years into a successful career in TV, and was surrounded by a group of irreplaceable people. I had also just gotten married and become a stepmom. So I was faced with two choices. I could stay in my comfort zone in a life I really liked. Or I could look at this as an opportunity to expand my world. I could see this as an opportunity to reboot and live my life on purpose. Oh man, thank goodness I did! Every freaking amazing thing happened once I embraced the crazy uncomfortable change i was experiencing (we call this the gap!) and allowed myself to grow into my authentic self. How can you expect to change for the better, if you don’t change anything at all??

Change forces you inward so you can get quiet and listen to your soul…this is why you find clarity in the gaps. Change can also make a person feel uncomfortable and insecure and when I moved I was in the thick of it. So I read as many personal development books as possible and surrounded myself with inspirational goodies and positive affirmations. I surrounded myself with examples of realized dreams and positive perspective. This helped me navigate my change. The gorgeous, supportive, environment I created lead me to The Change Dispensary. It became clear to me that I benefited GIGANTICALLY from having daily affirmation in my life and I wanted to share the power of it with others. (Oh and it worked, a few years later I had successfully built a thriving advertising agency in Phoenix & this brand which makes my soul squeal with delight!)
So I thought…how can I share this gift with others? Enter our Piggy Boxes!! I have always adored sending ultra personalized, unique gifts to loved ones. They had to be customized specifically for the receiver and as happy as humanly possible. I wanted my loved one to FEEL JOY & personally understood!
